QUESTION POSED ON: 08 February 2007
I found that my Norton Antivirus was no longer running and I could not get it to run. I removed it and upgraded to the latest internet security software. Everything seemed to be back to normal on my XP system, but when other user accounts launch IE, MS Money 2002 begins to "load." The same thing happens when I try to exit out of the IE browser. This does not happen during login. What should I do?

EXPERT RESPONSE
Have you checked your system for spyware? I'd do that using a separate tool such as AdAware or SpyBot. There may also be some corruption in the other users' profiles. You could back up data in those profiles and remove the users and then add them again. If these steps don't work, it may be time for a call to Microsoft, or worst case, reload your system with a clean Windows installation.
