QUESTION POSED ON: 10 February 2007
What's your recommendation for a password storage tool in a corporate enterprise MS Windows desktop environment? I looked around and only found a few vendor solutions, only one of which seemed to fit a corporate environment. Most solutions had either a lack of enterprise support or were not fully compatible with FIPS security requirements.

EXPERT RESPONSE
Outside of a PGP-encrypted spreadsheet, the only password storage tool I'm familiar with is Password Safe. The only "enterprise ready" tools I've seen are PassTrix and Enterprise Password Vault so you may want to check those out if you haven't already.
